Prateik Babbar‘s “Issaq” is released today. This movie is basically a romantic film, directed by Manish Tiwary and produced by Dhaval Gada and Shailesh R. Singh. Issaq lead Prateik Babbar started his career with a significant amazing performance inside the 2008 release ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. But he still hasn’t tried any major success within the box office. Issaq is positioned round the banks in the attractive capital of scotland- Varanasi where two rival groups are fighting it for supremacy. On a single for yellows, there is the Mishra camping and however will be the Kashyaps’s. As with all Hindi film, a young boy Rahul (Prateik Babbar) together with an attractive girl Bacchi (Amyra Dastur) from opposing camps fall deeply deeply in love with each other. Once their loved ones understand regarding affair, all hell breaks loose to cause a completely new tension involving the warring gangs. What happens next? For the complete story of the movie you must watch on big screen…
Coming to the analysis of the movie Prateik Babbar surely must use to have an acting course soon after this film. His facial expressions and body gestures doesn't suit his character whatsoever. Debutante Amyra Dastur is really a talent to be careful as she not just looks beautiful, but additionally carries the entire film on her behalf shoulders. Her innocence, body gestures and decent acting abilities will require this actress a lengthy means by Bollywood. Ravi Kissen is paramount player within this film and that he wills a wonderful job. Ravi continues to be growing in confidence with every film and that he always gives his complete effort.
The very first half of the film is extremely entertaining and it has some interesting moments. The entire Varanasi backdrop and also the fiery gang competition continue to be taken extremely well. Although the movie is dependent on Shakespeare’s epic ‘Romeo and Juliet’, its adaptation in to the Indian milieu continues to be very average. The storyline will get confusing in the beginning and also the finish takes forever to complete. Though it’s one such story about love between opposing camps, Issaq is not performed well. There is much more scope for romance and drama but that is not used whatsoever. The other half from the film takes forever to complete. Up until the finish from the first half, Issaq looks very promising; however the whole other half is extended a lot and eventually ends up being a boring watch.
Coming to the star performances Prateik is misfit as Rahul. To be the blue eyed boy following his legacy in the market, the function itself didn't have anything concrete. He's sufficient in the part, despite his accent failing him at parts. The youthful lad should be careful about his selection of roles, or he’ll miss out around the edge which got him observed to begin with. Amyra Dastur is okay because the coy Bacchi however again, her character wasn’t well etched out giving her a sketchy personality to operate off. Prashant Narayan is reliable of course and that he handles to provide a good performance within the character that was odd to start with. Ravi Kishan as Teeta Singh whose menacing presence is strongly performed and Rajeshwari Sachdev is really an enjoyable surprise as she fearlessly pulls through her role with sophistication. Rest of the supporting cast also had done their respective jobs here.
Manish Tiwari selects a fascinating subject, he falters together with his casting. The script is how the entire film falters as you will find too many moments attached at important times which make the film tiresome. Music by Sachin-Jigar is fairly decent. Camera jobs are decent in the manner it captures the good thing about Varanasi. The entire gang war and exactly how the figures happen to be treated are available out well on screen. The editing is sharp and thus may be the background score. Production values are also ok here.
Final Word: Issaq is nearly Ok in odds and ends. Overall it is not a worthy movie.
