What begins asa jolly fun ride ends up an action entertainer.
Sachin Khedekaris a businessman who sells children's energy drink and makes a successfulliving. He has conjoined twin Akhil and Vimal (Suriya). A Russian spy visits toget details on the formula. But the spy gets killed. In turn of events, Vimalis killed in a mishap Akhil gets separated from him.
Akhil comes toknow that the Russian woman is not a spy.He comes to know some serioussecret about the business. Now he goes to Russia to find out more and come outwith clear answers to some questions.
Suriya hasliterally lived both the roles. he is at his ease playing his best. It was likeworking on two films at the same time for Suriya and he does that with grace.Anger, agony and comedy are brought out well.
Kajal Agarwalis bubbly. She romances Suriya and leaves an impact with her performance.
It is a teamwork that brought rich rewards. Soundarajan's camera speaks a thousand wordswhile Peter Hein action choreography especially the one in a theme park areamazing.
Anthony's crispediting and Rajeevan's art direction adds life to the script.
Thanks to Anand's hard work and Suriya's commitment, Maattrraan makes a superb watch.
